The aspirants who have not qualified in the entrance for the first time need not worry as you can give this IIT JEE Exam three times. Both Intermediate and Diploma Students are eligible to give this entrance test.

JEE Mains Weightage:

  • The weight age of 12th marks will not be taken into consideration for calculating JEE Main Rank from 2017.
  • There are no minimum qualifying criteria for the 12th percentage for appearing in JEE Main 2017 exam.
  • The Aspirants those who wish to qualify in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination held by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
